Our mission
To develop practical refrigeration and cold-chain solutions that help preserve food, support businesses and strengthen technical skills in Guinea-Bissau.
GUINEA-BISSAU · COLD CHAIN & INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
Cooling Bissau is developing an integrated refrigeration and cold-chain initiative in Guinea-Bissau. Our vision brings together cold storage, ice systems, local manufacturing and engineering support.

01 / About Us
Cooling Bissau is the public brand of a planned industrial initiative dedicated to refrigeration and cold-chain development. We aim to strengthen food preservation, support local businesses and develop manufacturing skills in Guinea-Bissau, with a long-term ambition to serve West Africa.
To develop practical refrigeration and cold-chain solutions that help preserve food, support businesses and strengthen technical skills in Guinea-Bissau.
A stronger local cold chain, supported by the capacity to design, build and maintain refrigeration equipment, with the ambition to serve West Africa.
Start with real operating needs. Consider products, temperatures, site conditions and maintenance requirements, then develop manufacturing capability in achievable stages.
We aim to match each solution to its application, considering tropical conditions, power availability, energy use and ease of maintenance.
Safe operation, appropriate materials, clear documentation and operator understanding guide our planned engineering approach.
Our ambition is to develop local technical skills, create pathways for training and progressively build manufacturing and service capacity.
We discuss scope, responsibilities and availability before making a project commitment. Proposed facilities and future capabilities are identified as such.
02 / Services
Enquire about your requirements. Scope, availability and delivery timing will be confirmed for each project.
Discuss cooling loads, system design, equipment selection and project planning for your application.
↗Enquire about cold-room installation, refrigeration systems, start-up planning and operator handover.
↗Discuss maintenance needs, troubleshooting, equipment upgrades and spare-parts sourcing.
↗03 / Solutions
Our planned portfolio spans equipment, facilities and engineering support. Product availability and project scope are confirmed on enquiry.
Chilled and frozen storage, refrigerated warehouses, blast chilling and blast freezing for food and other temperature-sensitive products.
Block, flake, tube and cube ice machines, ice plants and storage systems for fisheries, food handling and commercial applications.
Progressive development of insulated panel and cold-room door production, followed by broader refrigeration equipment manufacturing.
Planned refrigerators, freezers, display cabinets and cooling solutions for retail, hospitality and food service.
01 / Cold storage
Plan the right environment for your products, from chilled holding rooms to frozen storage and blast freezing. The design discussion starts with the product and its handling requirements.
Discuss your project ↗
02 / Ice systems
Explore block, flake, tube and cube ice systems for fisheries, food handling and commercial use. Ice type and production capacity should match the intended application.
Discuss your project ↗
03 / Local manufacturing
The proposed industrial park aims to develop local production progressively, beginning with viable capabilities and expanding as demand, financing and skills are established.
Discuss your project ↗
04 / Commercial refrigeration
Discuss refrigeration requirements for shops, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and food-service operations. The planned portfolio includes refrigerators, freezers and display cabinets.
Discuss your project ↗
05 / Engineering & support
Start with a technical discussion of your new installation, equipment upgrade or maintenance requirement. Scope and service availability are confirmed individually.

04 / Projects
Our proposed industrial park brings cold-room, insulated-panel, ice-machine and commercial refrigeration manufacturing together with engineering, warehousing and technical support. Development is planned in stages as demand, financing and capability are established.

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT · PLANNING STAGE
Engineering, cold rooms, installation, service and spare-parts capability.
Expand insulated panels and doors, ice machines and commercial refrigeration as each stage becomes viable.
Technical training, testing, research and development, component manufacturing and regional exports.
The park and future factories are planned developments. Dates, production capacities and investment requirements are still being defined.
05 / Engineering Tools
Future calculators will support cold-room heat loads, refrigeration sizing and equipment selection. They are part of our ambition to build practical engineering knowledge alongside manufacturing capability.
Contact engineering ↗Tell us what you handle, your location, daily volumes and required temperatures. For ice systems, include the ice type, intended use and daily output.
Discuss storage or production needs, electricity and water availability, space, access and operating conditions. A site assessment may be needed.
Discuss equipment options, scope, exclusions and support requirements. Prices and schedules depend on an agreed specification and confirmed availability.
For an agreed project, define installation responsibilities, commissioning checks, operator handover and maintenance arrangements before work begins.
06 / Request a Quote
Tell us whether you need cold storage, an ice system, equipment or engineering support. We will use your enquiry to discuss scope and availability.
quotes@cooling-bissau.com ↗The park and its manufacturing facilities are proposed developments in the planning stage. Operations, production capacities and opening dates have not been confirmed.
The choice depends on the application, daily demand, storage and handling needs, water quality and available power. Share these details so suitable options can be discussed.
Include the product, room dimensions or storage capacity, target temperature, incoming product temperature, daily throughput, door usage and site location. If these are not yet known, describe your operation.
Send a short introduction, relevant capabilities and the opportunity you would like to discuss to info@cooling-bissau.com. Development partnerships remain subject to review and agreement.
